Day 3 Tournament Round#1 : Siam Plantation |
In March 2008, a new 27-hole golf course was opened with the name Siam Country Club (Plantation Course). This course was designed by a well known Arizona based, Schmidt & Curley Design Inc. The “PLANTATION” name was given in the honor of the historic Sugar Cane, Tapioca, and Pineapple plantations, and each 9-hole is named accordingly |
Day 4 Tournament Round#2 : Siam Country Club Waterside course |
Siam Country Club Waterside. The Waterside will feature Waterfront and Friendly golf course concepts, 18-hole, par 72, 7407 yards covering the area of 525 rai (200 acres) but will hold the same championship qualities of the successes of the Old Course (18-hole) and Plantation (27-hole) on the property next door, which are already renowned golf courses among the best in Asia Pacific. With many water-feature holes, Signature Hole will be a memorable one. Course design will be strategic with locations of lakes and creeks in play. The back tee will challenge the best. At the same time, the regular tee will offer enjoyment for all golfers. Let’s not forget the charm, well manner, and knowledgeable caddies of Siam Country Club who will make your day memorable. |
Day 5 Optional Round St Andrews 2000
The golf course offers an uncompromising challenge aimed at players with handicaps of 18 or lower. Playing at over 7700 yards to a par 74, this is a tough course. St Andrews features elevated tees and greens, tight landing zones, split elevation fairways, huge putting surfaces and while difficult to accept for the true golfer, two par 6's, over 800 yards each! The back nine in particular has large elevation changes and views of the surrounding hillsides. While aimed at players with handicaps of 18 or lower, this most challenging course in Pattaya should be a must visit for all golfing tourists in the area. The course is an extremely tough test of golf from any tee. The two par 6’s are a bit much for the golf course purist. The additional long fairway shot that must be played demands an entirely different dimension in concentration and course management. |
Day 6 Tournament Round#3 : Laem Chabang |
This course is a picturesque Jack Nicklaus designed championship course is the best layout in Pattaya. Laem Chabang is made up of 27 holes on 700 acres and makes use of 3 types of features which characterize each of the 9 holes. Each type of terrain corresponds to a 9-hole course in a unique way, and as such each one is named Mountain, Lake and Valley. |
Day 7 Tournament Round#4 : Siam Country Club Old Course PM Farewell Party and Awards Night |
Siam Country Club The first privately owned course in Thailand was also the first Thai course to ever host an LPGA event: the 2007 Honda LPGA Thailand. The immaculate greens are huge, elevated and contoured, meaning even the best putters will want the expertise of a well-trained caddie. The last four holes make up what is widely considered the best closing stretch in Thailand |
